What They Didn't Tell You About Adisec

One of the fastest growing schools in Ghana, located in oil city Sekondi - Adiembra, with a population of 2500 + students, it is really growing fast.

     The Following Staff Members Represent - Language Dept, Maths Dept, Science Dept, Bus Dept & V. Art Dept

The school placed 3rd in  WACCEC 2013 in Western region, only behind GSTS and Porters and 32rd in Ghana. The School has remain in the Top 60 ranking ever since 2013 and has had at least 3 of it students obtaining aggregate 07-09. Robert Kwofie (2016) holds the record of being the best student in the history of the school with grade 07 (A1 in 5 out of the 8 subjects)

                                           
You are shocked right, yes you should be, because the school is only 26 years old.


Don't joke with them when it comes to sports because they broke the dominance of St Johns in football competition. Johns had won the competition for 6 consecutive years and it took a small school like Adisec to stop them in 2016.

They went on to beat GSTS and Johns in the Top 4 before coming 2nd in the super zonal.

The school is the current champions for volleyball(Boys) in the inter school competition and has won the competition for 6 consecutive years, and placed 2nd in National Completion.




For Handball, the school is the current and has won the competition for 3 consecutive time for both boys and girls division.

If Rome wasn't built in a day, then I can boldly tell you Adiembra Senior High School - Adisec, wasn't built in a day too but through the blood and toil of some great men By: Jan Matti Mawunyo Meet Mr. Ebenezer Nelson , the current Headmaster of Adiembra Senior High School, a man of version, a man who can see in million-light, way ahead. The man who has put mother Adisec in the race for the best school in Takoradi (Western Region). As he always says, “Go to Porters and GSTS, they are doing it and so can we. A headmaster who always motivates his staffs, especially the teachers and does not joke with his students’ academics. A man of sports and a man of good taste for development. Words can never describe his achievements, from completing the boys Dormitory, building two summer hats, getting an accommodation for 2 male teachers on campus, completing and making the girls Dormitory 2 story building and what I love most is that he is always decorating the school compound.
